Salem Ridge Mennonite Church, 441 Pensinger Road, Greencastle, Pa., Children's Day will be held today from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Events for children ages 5-12 will include "Freddy the Clown" and a day of fun activities including games, crafts and worship.

Lunch will be provided for the children.

At 3 p.m., there will be a short closing program and ice cream.

Christian Life Church, Chambersburg, Pa., a church yard sale will be held today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items include children's clothing, toys and accessories, household items and baked goods. The yard sale benefits the ministries of the church. For directions call 717-267-1280.

Ringgold Meetinghouse, 14426 Misty Meadow Road, the annual Brethren in Christ Heritage service will be held this Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Pauline Allison, associate pastor of Grantham Brethren in Christ Church, will be speaking on the theme, Christian Community.

Outreach Ministries' Summer in the Park, weekly on the theme, Death of a Nation.

This Sunday's event will be held in Wheaton Park beginning at 1 p.m.

Faith Christian Fellowship, 16726 Lappans Road, Hagerstown, the 10th anniversary of the church will be celebrated this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Dave Vance will be installed as head pastor while former Pastor John Miller's missions venture will be launched.

The children are singing the song and the pastors' wives will perform a duet. There will be a Biblical challenge from Larry Henderson, vice president of Churches in Missions, and a baton handoff from Miller to Vance.

A picnic on the grounds begins at 3:30 p.m. There will be inflatables, sand volleyball, basketball and football also available on the property.

An evening concert with Steve Nemeth begins at 5:45 p.m. A "This is Your Life" presentation will focus on the Millers.

New Day Ministries, North Church and Green streets, Middletown, Md., Aglow International Community Lighthouse of Middletown Valley will meeting June 5 at 7 p.m.

Margaret Dean, president of Maryland West area, is guest speaker.

Independent Bible Church, 2306 Hedgesville Road, Martinsburg, W.Va., a family weekend June 8 and 10, is aimed at fostering relationships with and within the growing community and church family.

On Friday evening at 5:45 p.m., families are invited to the outdoor recreation space for informal fun and fellowship including food, games, sports and a pie-baking contest. Guests are asked to bring a side dish or salad, table service and seating, along with your pie contest entry if desired. Meat and drinks will be provided.

On Sunday, June 10, there will be a picnic lunch immediately following services. Cost is $5.

Greencastle (Pa.) Church of God, 4480 Buchanan Trail West, Jan Aldridge will be sharing the Word of God and her own testimony Sunday, June 10, at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
