Smithsburg High School golf coach Dan Neff posted his third career hole-in-one Monday, when he aced the 155-yard, sixth hole with a 6-iron at Beaver Creek Country Club. He was playing with Steve Young, Dave Grimm and Joe Miles.

Hollenbach to speak at Middletown
Former Maryland Terrapins quarterback Sam Hollenbach will be at Middletown High School Auditorium on Sunday to speak about his spiritual life. The event is sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Hollenbach, who recently signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent, will sign autographs afterward.
Run Through History 10K
The 28th annual Run Through History 10K and 2-mile fun run will be held Sunday at Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. The 10K and 2-mile fun run both begin at 8:30.
The fee is $30. Each registrant receives a T-shirt.
