The Manor Church Senior Citizens Club met Wednesday, May 2, in the social room of the church.

A covered dish dinner was served at noon. Afterward, President Ruth South called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was repeated.

Following the business meeting, a memorial service for deceased members Charlotte Brown and Catherine Semler was conducted.

Catherine Dorsey and Iolene Coss presented flowers. Naomi Thomas lit candles. Patsy Boward read a memorial for Charlotte Brown and Harold Ridenour read a memorial for Catherine Semler. Pastor Joy Zepp closed the ceremony with a prayer.

Assistant Secretary Josephine Palmer called the roll and Ruth Shank gave the treasurer's report. Richard Coss thanked the club for his birthday party at the April meeting.

Zella Hargett, president of the Boonsboro Senior Club, invited the Manor Church seniors to the Boonsboro club's picnic in June and the Manor Church seniors accepted.

The meeting concluded with a circle of prayer.
