Marshall-Younker

Joseph and Denise Marshall of Little Orleans, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie Marshall, to Samuel Lee Younker Jr., son of Debbie Kerns of Mercersburg, Pa., and Samuel and Tina Younker of Hancock.

Ms. Marshall is a 2000 graduate of Flintstone High School. She graduated from Frostburg State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in social work and sociology. She received a master's degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She is employed as a therapist at Brook Lane Health Services.

Mr. Younker is a 1999 graduate of Hancock High School. He is employed as a correction officer at Washington County Detention Center.

Marshall-Lowe

Joseph and Denise Marshall of Little Orleans, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Darleane Elizabeth Marshall, to Adam Lee Lowe, son of Vicky Lowe of Lusby, Md., and Terry Lowe of Lampasas, Texas.

Ms. Marshall is a 2001 graduate of Hancock High School. She graduated from Frostburg State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood/elementary education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher by Charles County Public Schools.

Mr. Lowe is a 2000 graduate of Patuxent High School. He graduated from Frostburg State University in 2005 with a bachelors degree in health and physical education. He is employed as a health and physical education teacher by Charles County Public Schools.

A July 7, 2007, wedding is planned.




Ramsburg-Thompson

Walter and Debra Ramsburg of Sharpsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Renee Ramsburg, to Fred Thompson III, son of Fred Thompson Jr. of Westminster, Md., and Linda Thompson of Littlestown, Pa.

Ms. Ramsburg is a 1996 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a graduate of Accutec Business Institute. She is employed with Bayer Construction Co. Inc. in Catonsville, Md.

Mr. Thompson is a 1993 graduate of Westminster High School and a graduate of the University of Maryland. He is employed by Richard F. Kline Inc. of Frederick, Md.

An October wedding is planned.
