Real estate course offered through HCC

May 21, 2007

An accelerated two-week, 60-hour real estate prelicensing course, "Real Estate Principles and Practices," will be offered through Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education beginning June 25.

The course is designed for anyone who would like to get their real estate license quickly and school teachers who are off over the summer break.

The course, approved by the State of Maryland Real Estate Commission, will prepare students to take the Maryland state exam.

The class is taught by a team of local brokers, agents and managers from several real estate companies. Students must attend all classes and receive a 70 percent or better on the final test in order to be eligible to take the state examination.

The class will meet Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of June 25 and the week of July 9 on the main campus of HCC. Cost is $279.
