Real estate seminar

Arthur Lazerow, president and CEO of Alban Home Inspection Service Inc., will conduct a continuing education seminar on Thursday, May 31, in Hagerstown.

The seminar, "Home Inspection and The Property Condition Clause," will be offered free to area real estate agents.

Lazerow is a Maryland Association of Realtors educator and a real estate training expert.

The course is approved for three continuing education credit hours through Camelot Real Estate Academy.

The seminar will be held at Fairfax Realty Inc., at 1423 Dual Highway, No. 14, Hagers-town, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Space is limited and reservations are required.

TEDCO briefing

FREDERICK, Md. - The Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) will share details about technology transfer funding programs during a briefing in Frederick.

These state and federal funding programs provide financial support for the development of technologies for commercialization in collaboration with Maryland universities and federal laboratories.

The briefing will be held Friday, May 25, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at the Fort De-trick Business Development Office, 201 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 208, Frederick.

The programs include Fort Detrick Technology Transfer Initiative (FDTTI); Maryland Technology Transfer Fund (MTTF); University Technology Development Fund (UTDF); and Working Capital Loan Fund (WCLF).

The free briefings will provide descriptions of the funding programs, including eligibility requirements.
