CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Two Shippensburg, Pa., men have been charged with assaulting a Chambersburg man with a hammer and baseball bat Tuesday night, although the victim fought back against the intruders, sending one to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center, according to borough police.

Shane Laughman, 26, of 228 Neil Road, and Shawn Snyder, 34, of 46 Walnut Dale Road, were both charged with first-degree felony burglary, aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy in the 11:11 p.m. attack, police said.
