Physics Olympics

The Boonsboro High School team won a number of honors at the University of Maryland Physics Olympics on Saturday, April 21, including second place overall out of 14 teams competing. In eight individual events, Boonsboro finished first in the "Open and Closed Tubes" mystery event, aided by the musical skills of Chris Heim. The team placed second in three other events: Solar Furnace, Egg Drop and Optics Orgy. Boonsboro earned third place in the Balloon Powered Car event.
