FCA Volleyball concludes sixth season

The 10-team Tri-State Fellowship of Christian Athletes Volleyball Club recently finished its sixth season with a cumulative 505-361 record, culminating with the Chesapeake Regional Championships. The FCA teams had 11 first-, 11 second- and 13 third-place finishes in 72 tournaments.

The 16U Revelation (above) won two tournaments and finished the season ranked eighth out of 75 16U teams in the region.

Lutz's 23 points led the Revelation at regionals.

The 14U Saints led the club with four championships and four runner-up finishes in nine tournaments and finished the season ranked fourth out of 47 teams in the region. The Saints finished fifth in the region championships, led by Lily Pinkham's 49 points.

Led by Nikki Siefert's 27 points, the 15U Halos finished fifth at regionals with a No. 3 overall ranking out of 53 teams.

The 12U Frogs finished with an eighth-place ranking out of 16 teams in the region, while the 13U Spirit were ranked eighth out of 16, the 15U Genesis 18th out of 53, the 15U Trinity 35th out of 53, the 16U Avengers 26th, the 18U Guardians 35th out of 39 and the 18U Malachi 11th.

The Guardians finished 12th in the region championships, led by Katie Koontz's 18 points.
