Ashley has been a member of the Honor club and made the honor roll throughout high school, as well as being named to the distinguished honor roll. She's been a math tutor, captain of the varsity cheerleaders, a counselor at "Little Cheer Camp" and participates in Best Buddies, a peer mentoring program for learning disabled students.

She also has volunteered at Washington County Teen Hospital and as a classroom assistant for her mother, who teaches at Paramount Elementary School.

Commissioners President John F. Barr presented both awards.
