Osteoporosis program

FREDERICK, Md. -Frederick County Cooperative Extension will offer the workshop, "Bone Health and Osteoporosis: What it Means to You," from 1 to 2:30 p.m. or 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the extension office, 330 Montevue Lane.

You are never too old or too young to improve your bone health. During National Osteoporosis Prevention Month, learn how to decrease your risk. This 90-minute workshop, based on the U.S. Surgeon General's Report on Bone Health and Osteoporosis, will show how to prevent it and offer samples of calcium and Vitamin D rich foods. The cost is $3.

Fitness certification

Gymnastics for rookies
