Born Jan. 10, 1932, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Bowers Foltz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Elizabeth Griffith Foltz, in 2003.
He retired from Quebecor World in Fairfield, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Lee English of Orrtanna, Pa., and Brenda Funk of Hagerstown; one son, Ron Leisinger of York Springs, Pa.; three sisters, Geraldine Foltz of Hagerstown, Josephine Reese of Hagerstown, and Gloria Wolfensburger of Funkstown; two brothers, Ralph Foltz of Funkstown and Charles Foltz of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Griffith; and one brother, Joseph Foltz.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel in Hagerstown. Pastor Mark C. Mooney will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Joseph L. Rhodes Sr., 75, of Buchanan Trail West, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at his home.
Born Feb. 14, 1932, in Mercersburg, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Rozella Stevens Rhodes.
He retired from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, following 33 years of service.
He was a member of Greencastle Sportsmen's Association, VFW Post 6241 of Mercersburg, American Legion Post 517 of Mercersburg, UAW 171 of Hagerstown and a former member of the Men of the Mountain of Fort Loudon, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, V. Louise Woodward Rhodes, whom he married June 17, 1950; three daughters, Sherry E. Garlick and Debra L. Wenger, both of Mercersburg, and Lisa G. Harshman of Clay Hill, Pa.; two sisters, Gladys Snyder and Linda Swisher, both of Mercersburg; one brother, Vincent Rhodes Sr. of Mercersburg; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Rhodes and Joseph L. Rhodes Jr.; one sister, Myra Hawley; two brothers, Robert Rhodes and Dick Rhodes; and one great-grandson.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg. The Rev. W. David Kent will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BOONSBORO - Floyd William Doyle, 93, of 110 Saint Paul St., died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at his home.
Born Nov. 26, 1913, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Howard B. and Daisy E. Gabe Doyle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Haupt Doyle, in 2005.
He was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.
He had retired after 33 years from Mitchell Corporation in Hagerstown.
He was a member of The Improved Order of Red Men and South Mountain Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by three sons, Harry L. Doyle, Terry W. Doyle and Chris A. Doyle, all of Boonsboro; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis R. Doyle and Dale W. Doyle; and four brothers, Harry Doyle, Lester Doyle, Charles Doyle and Lewis Doyle.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. William Schuit will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at noon.

FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Julia Goldwyn Farrell, 98, of 371 Stayman Drive, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at The Village at Robinwood in Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 3, 1908, in Linden, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Robert Wiley and Fannie Belle Moore Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Alton Farrell, in 1978.
She was employed by the Department of the Navy at the Washington Navy Yard as a financial supervisor, retiring in 1975.
She was an Episcopalian.
She was a member of AARP.
