Peace forum offered in Martinsburg

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - To enhance the understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the importance of non-violent approaches to its resolution and the important role of the United States, a community forum will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Martinsburg.

Tarek Abuata (a Palestinian Christian) and Hilla Keren (an Israeli) will lead a dialogue concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and share their perspectives to its resolution.

Participants will be invited to talk with Tarek and Hilla on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, approaches and prospects for peace.

The event is free and open to the public.
