CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Community and organization leaders will gather Thursday for the Power of Connections Forum at the Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, Kauffman Road and U.S. 11 in Marion, Pa.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., participants will explore opportunities to work together to address five identified areas of need in Franklin County.
Keynote Speaker is Dr. Bruce Main, executive director of Urban Promise in New Jersey.
Group discussion on five key issues identified in the Foundation for Enhancing Communities Study on Franklin County will follow a short presentation from local leaders including:
Norman Epstein, president and CEO of Summit Health; Richard Wynn, director of Franklin County Human Services and Drug and Alcohol Specialist Lauri Davis; Mike Ross, director of Franklin County Area Development Corp.; Bonnie Zehler, director of Franklin County Housing Authority on Affordable Housing; Phil Tarquino, director of Franklin County Planning Commission.
