MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A 24-year-old man is accused of selling cocaine to an individual in a Martinsburg Mall bathroom Wednesday, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records.
Daniel M. Harris of 357 Hedrick Ave., Martinsburg, was arraigned Thursday on one count of distribution of a controlled substance. Magistrate Harry L. Snow set a $25,000 bond.
According to a complaint filed by Martinsburg Police Department Detective Sgt. Kevin Miller, an individual cooperating with the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crime Task Force met the accused at the mall's food court and then walked into the bathroom, where an exchange of $300 for cocaine was made.
Officers then followed Harris and two other individuals, who eventually left the mall and got into a gray Saab, which was stopped by West Virginia State Police, according to Miller's complaint.
