"We attended the Hagerstown Suns game on Friday evening - very nice entertainment - but we kind of noticed the infield is in need of repair; several bare spots, and the grass has not been grown, and I was wondering why this was happening. If I was the manager, I'd surely make the team repair and resod the area. I was wondering why a local contractor maybe didn't step up and provide the service for the Suns."

"I just read today where 300 women were arrested in Iran for not covering up. If that was done here in the U.S., more than 50 percent of women would be arrested."

"This administration is using young men and women for their own personal gain in Iraq."

"This is in reference to the 'You Said It' column that the person from Maugansville says that The Herald-Mail owes an apology. I don't think so. The picture just shows that the parents need to know where their responsibility lies when it comes to raising their children, and knowing when there's something wrong with their child. If you are attentive to your children, you can tell when there's something not right. That picture makes parents think 'Could my child be capable of that?' I don't think The Herald-Mail owes anybody an apology. That's only my opinion, though."
