Smithsburg Community Volunteer Fire Co. is holding a chicken barbecue on Saturday, April 28, at Lewis' Fruit Stand on Md. 64, starting at 10 a.m.
There will be chicken by the half with beans and coleslaw.
Also, the ladies auxiliary is having a bake sale. Pies, cakes, cookies and fudge will be available.
