Women given additional time to make restitution

April 25, 2007|by ERIN JULIUS

A woman convicted of embezzling more than $200,000 from her former employer returned Tuesday to Washington County Circuit Court for a restitution hearing.

Krista Sue Hudson, 39, was fired from Robinwood Orthopaedic Specialists on Oct. 18, 2004, after the office manager noticed that bank deposit slips, which Hudson was authorized to fill out, were altered, according to court documents.

Hudson was charged with stealing close to $230,000 over the course of about four years.

Washington County Circuit Judge W. Kennedy Boone III ordered Tuesday that Hudson pay back $203,021.51 and gave her an additional two years to do so.
