The pharmacy at the CVS store in downtown Hagerstown is closed until Monday, but customers needing prescriptions will still be able to get them, a company spokesman said.
Scheduling conflicts and a family emergency for one of the pharmacists prompted the store to close the pharmacy, according to Mike DeAngelis, manager of corporate communications for CVS.
Customers needing prescriptions are being directed to the North Cannon Avenue store. He said a delivery system is available to those unable to get to the Cannon Avenue store. Anyone needing that service may call the Cannon Avenue store.
The downtown pharmacy will reopen Monday, he said.
