Man robbed in shooting incident

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A man running from two other men at Martins Landing on Saturday tripped and fell before one of the men shot at him, according to a Martinsburg Police Department press release.

The man told police that two men in black clothing confronted him near the breezeway of 2500 Martins Landing about 3 a.m., according to the release.

One of the men in black pointed a pistol at the man, who ran, according to the release.

When the man tripped and fell in the parking lot as he ran, one of the men in black fired a shot toward him, but missed, according to the release.

One of the men in black took the man's wallet, then both men in black fled, according to the release.
