MERCERSBERG, Pa. - Laken Beers pitched a four-hitter with 14 strikeouts and no walks as James Buchanan beat Greencastle-Antrim.

Sara Karn had two RBI for JB (5-1, 3-1).

Sarah Signore allowed four hits, no walks and struck out 12 in the loss. Rochelle Christman was 2-for-3 for Greencastle (6-2, 4-1).

No. 2 Hedgesville 3, Musselman 2

INWOOD, W.Va. - Jessica Mason scored the winning run on a single by Brittany Kolb in the top of the seventh as Hedgesville defeated Musselman in the Apple Valley League.

Chelsea Oals went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Jessica Shirley had seven strikeouts and no walks in the complete-game victory for the Eagles (15-1, 3-0).


Jenica Anders, Whitney Mathias and Kayla Adams each had two hits for the Applemen (8-7, 0-3).

No. 3 Waynesboro 9, East Penn 4

ENOLA, Pa. - Taryn Ashway had two hits and an RBI and was the winning pitcher for Waynesboro in a Mid-Penn Colonial game against East Pennsboro (5-4, 2-4).

Amanda Redano and Katie Zack each had two hits and two RBI and Mallory Wishard and Emily Wilson each added two hits for the Maidens (4-1, 3-0).

Mercersburg 2, No. 5 Martinsburg 1

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Cree Riley scored the winning run in the top of the seventh on an error as Mercersburg Academy defeated Martinsburg.

Riley had nine strikeouts and Liz Harvey hit a double for the Blue Storm (5-4).

No. 7 Williamsport 7, Clear Spring 5

WILLIAMSPORT - Jess Patey hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to lead Williamsport.

Casey Siler and Emily Huff each went 2-for-4 and Alexis Fisher was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Wildcats (7-2, 5-1).

Ashley Shaft was 3-for-3 for the Blazers.

Berkeley Springs 11-14, Keyser 3-0

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Katie Kesecker pitched a five-inning no-hitter and had three hits and scored three runs as Berkeley Springs completed a doubleheader sweep of Keyser.

Tiffany Compton had two hits and three RBI and Susannah Bennett added two hits and two RBI for the Indians (9-7) in the nightcap.

In the first game, Kesecker homered, Ashley Hovermale and Kayla Hill each had three hits and two RBI and Sam Zahnow had two hits and three RBI for Berkeley Springs.

Southern Fulton 4, Fannett-Metal 3

SOUTHERN FULTON, Pa. - Courtney Trainer hit a two-run double and Natasha Bard had two hits and an RBI to lead Southern Fulton (6-1).

Hyndman 13, McConnellsburg 2

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Sam McQuade hit a home run and Megan Eichelberger had three hits for McConnellsburg (0-5).

ROMNEY, W.Va. - Jonathan Hash had three hits, including a three-run homer, and four RBI to lead Jefferson.

Matt Tiano had four hits, including three doubles, and three RBI, Marquise Jones had three hits and Bobby O' Donnell and Drew Stevens had two hits each for the Cougars (13-2).

Cumberland Valley 4, No. 2 Chambersburg 3

NEW KINGSTOWN, Pa. - An error in the bottom of the eighth cost Chambersburg in a loss to Cumberland Valley.

Marshall Gilbert went 4-for-4 with two RBI for the Trojans (4-3).

No. 6 Waynesboro 13, East Penn 2

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Nathan Minnich and Jamison Walck hit back-to-back solo shots to highlight Waynesboro's six-run first inning against East Pennsboro.

John Brunner had three hits and two RBI, Zach Helman had two hits and two RBI and Brenton Kopecek added two RBI to lead the Indians (7-2, 5-0).

No. 7 Williamsport 6, Clear Spring 2

WILLIAMSPORT - Williamsport scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat Clear Spring.

Pitcher Andrew Duff allowed only four hits and went 2-for-4 for the Wildcats (6-4).

Greencastle 14, James Buchanan 4

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Jeff Fisher had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBI and Tim Armstrong had two hits, including a triple, as Greencastle defeated James Buchanan in a Mid-Penn Capital game.

Christian Egolf homered for the Rockets (3-3, 3-1).

Hedgesville 2, Sherando 1

STEPHENS CITY, W.Va. - Brandon Nisewarner had the game-winning two-RBI single in the top of the sixth as Hedgesville defeated Sherando.

Andrew Snyder struck out six and allowed two hits in 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win for the Eagles (6-8).

Notre Dame 15, Musselman 3

INWOOD, W.Va. - Ryan Shade hit a home run and Blaine Coates had two RBI for Musselman (7-9) in a loss to Notre Dame Academy.

Boonsboro 2, Smithsburg 0

BOONSBORO - Curtis Wolfe threw a one-hitter in his first start of the season to pick up the win as Boonsboro (6-2) defeated Smithsburg.

Fannett-Metal 3, Southern Fulton 1

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Donovan McGee pitched a two-hitter to lead Fannett-Metal past Southern Fulton in the Sideling Hill League.
