GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Sarah Signore pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead No. 1 Greencastle-Antrim to a four-inning Mid-Penn Capital victory over Milton Hershey on Friday.

Brittany Main went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Roxanne Dewalt had a two-run homer in the fourth, a triple and three RBI for the Blue Devils (5-1, 3-1).

Signore and Megan Roadcap each had two hits, and Amanda Ritchey, Halie Damon and Kayla Pond each added two RBI.

Gettysburg 1No. 3 Waynesboro 0

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Nikki Warner singled, stole second and scored on a grounder in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Gettysburg a win over Waynesboro.

Taryn Ashway had two hits for the Maidens (3-1).

CLEAR SPRING - Christina Mehaffie struck out seven for Clear Spring (1-5, 0-4) in an MVAL Antietam loss to Catoctin.

Brunswick 4, Smithsburg 1

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Becky Kaler tossed a two-hitter and Katie Renner had two RBI as Brunswick (6-2, 4-1) beat Smithsburg in an MVAL Antietam game.


Bethany Garnand threw a four-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Leopards (1-5, 1-4).

Chambersburg 13, Red Land 0

LEWISBERRY, Pa. - Allison Rife and Jill Monn combined on a one-hit shutout to lead Chambersburg over Red Land (4-3, 1-3) in a Mid-Penn Commonwealth game.

Jordan Sanders had three hits and three RBI and Kayla Preisler had a home run for the Trojans (2-2, 2-1).


No. 1 Jefferson 13, Andrews (S.C.) 9

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Jonathan Hash went 3-for-4, including a solo home run and a double, and drove in two runs to lead Jefferson over Andrews (S.C.) and into the championship game of the Hawaiian Tropic Tournament.

Drew Stevens hit a two-run homer and a double, Matt Tiano had two hits and three RBI and Stephen Peters hit a solo homer for the Cougars (12-1).

No. 6 Waynesboro 14, Gettysburg 9

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - John Brunner hit a two-run home run to highlight a six-run first inning as Waynesboro beat Gettysburg.

Nathan Minnich homered in the second, and Jamison Walck hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning to lead Waynesboro (5-2, 3-0). Minnich and Walck each had two hits and three RBI, while Chris Arendt and David Gray had two hits each.

Brunswick 4, Smithsburg 3

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Seth Keyser scored the winning run on a throwing error in the bottom of the eighth to lead Brunswick to an MVAL Antietam victory over Smithsburg.

Mike Mench led off the eighth with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Houston Darling, and Keyser reached on an error. Kyle Foltz singled up the middle, but Mench was cut down at the plate on a throw from center field by Josh Conway.

Davis Keller walked, and a shot to shortstop by Cassidy O'Bryen was mishandled and thrown away, allowing Keyser to score the game-winner for the Railroaders (3-6, 2-3).

Keyser and O'Bryen both had two hits. O'Bryen drove in two runs.

Conway was 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Josh Bodine had an RBI for the Leopards (1-5, 0-4).

Catoctin 4, Clear Spring 3

CLEAR SPRING - Aaron Mills and John Mason had two hits each, but Clear Spring left 11 runners in scoring position in an eight-inning MVAL Antietam loss to Catoctin.

John Kehr struck out six in 6 1/3 innings for the Blazers (3-2, 1-1).

Kyle Beard had the game-winning RBI and Mitch Althoff had three hits for the Cougars (5-2, 3-1).

Greencastle 14, Milton Hershey 4

HERSHEY, Pa. - Joe Sellitto went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI to lead Greencastle-Antrim over Milton Hershey in a Mid-Penn Capital game.

Trevor Ile had two hits, two RBI and a run, Jeff Fisher had two hits and two RBI, Alex Izer had two hits and an RBI, and Grant Myers blasted a two-run homer for the Blue Devils (5-3, 4-0).

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Hedgesville (5-8) beat Hilton Head Prep to finish seventh in the Batrup Tournament.
