April 13, 2007|by ERIN JULIUS

The trial of a woman charged with setting fire to a historic Williamsport building in August 2006 was continued Thursday.

Lauren Alexandria France, 18, is charged with second-degree arson, first-degree malicious burning, second-degree malicious burning, burglary and other offenses in the Aug. 30, 2006, fire at 6 Springfield Lane, the former home of the town's founder.

France's address is listed in charging documents as 11823 Orebank Road.

Washington County Circuit Judge Frederick C. Wright continued the case because the court could not reach it today because of other jury trials, he said.

Wright ordered France's case to be tried May 10.
