April 13, 2007

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Waynesboro Historical Society's annual spring tea is scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29, at Oller House, 138 W. Main St.

The tea will feature an array of finger foods from sweet to savory accompanied by unlimited pots of hot tea. Decaffeinated tea is available upon request. Traditional tea-time scones will be served with jam and cream. Fresh flowers, piano music, china and linens complete the elegant Victorian setting.

This year's theme is "It's Tea-Time," featuring items relating to tea marketing, preparation and consumption. Teapots, cozies, cups, saucers, trays and advertising will be on display.

Seating for the tea is limited, reservations are required. The cost is $15 for historical society members, $18 for nonmembers, and $15 per person for groups of eight or more.
