Suns slay Legends

April 11, 2007

LEXINGTON, Ky. - What's fair is fair.

After spending the early season giving away runs and games, the Hagerstown Suns turned the tables to their benefit.

The Suns used two Lexington errors to start a five-run fourth inning Tuesday, leading to an 8-6 victory. It was Hagerstown's second win of the season.

The Suns (2-4) broke a 1-1 tie when Joe Napoli reached on a fielding error by Lexington third baseman Koby Clemens to lead off the inning. Then, after Leonard Davis singled, Alex Nunez reached when pitcher Casey Hudspeth muffed his sacrifice bunt to load the bases.

Jhonathan Solano and Mike Daniel each had two-run singles to break the game open.

Aaron Jackson won for the Suns in relief of starter Marco Estrada. Daniel and Stephen King each hit solo homers for the Suns.
