April 11, 2007|by KAREN HANNA

MARLOWE, W.Va. - A female was believed to have suffered broken bones, and a male received minor injuries after a black Chevrolet Camaro rolled several times on U.S. 11 in West Virginia near the Maryland line, the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department said.

Police said they received a call about a one-vehicle crash at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday on Williamsport Pike.

Police said the Camaro was traveling north on U.S. 11 when it left the roadway and rolled several times. A female passenger was thrown from the car.

The male driver of the car was released by medics at the scene, police said.

The driver was cited for not wearing his seat belt and for failing to maintain control of the car. The crash still was under investigation Tuesday night.
