April 13 is deadline for dairy princess contest

The Washington County Dairy Princess committee is seeking young ladies to serve as the 2007-2008 county Dairy Princess.

Requirements include: you must be a county resident, though you may attend an out-of-state college; you must be a daughter of either a dairy farmer, a dairy farm manager or herdsman, or an employee in a dairy-related industry, or be employed as one of those, own at least one dairy animal in a 4-H or FFA project and/or enrolled in a dairy-related project for at least two years (except dairy goats or dairy steers); and you must turn at least 16 during the contest year.

In addition to a dairy princess, the committee is also seeking girls ages 13 to 16 to serve as county Dairy Maids.
