Berkeley Springs 9-12, East Hardy 2-5

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Sarah Risinger, Sam Zahnow and Amanda Waltman each had three hits in the nightcap as Berkeley Springs completed a doubleheader sweep of East Hardy.

Katie Kesecker and Alyssa Spielman each added two hits in the nightcap, while Risinger and Zahnow each scored three runs, Waltman drove in three and Kesecker drove in two.

Kayla Hill had three hits and three RBI in the first game for the Indians (6-5), while Risinger had two hits, including an RBI triple.



St. James 10, Georgetown Day 9

SAINT JAMES - The Saints overcame a 9-1 deficit through three innings, taking the lead with a five-run sixth.

Mike Russ' two-run single tied the game at 9 in the sixth before Brad Kretzer drove in the go-ahead run for St. James (2-4).

Colin McWilliams had three hits and drove in two for the Saints. Grant McWilliams, Russ, Kretzer and Gino Rosignano each had two hits. Brett Rosenthal earned the victory with four innings of one-hit relief.

Mercersburg 7, Bullis 1

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Tom Timoney pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and Kenny Burns and Drew Crofton each had two hits for Mercersburg Academy (2-3).

Hedgesville 11, Petersburg 7

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Michael Lopez went 3-for-5 with three RBI and three runs scored and Matt Stewart went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Hedgesville (3-5).
