Workcamp needs volunteers to evaluate sites

Antietam Workcamp is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that is bringing 400 youths and adults to Washington County to effect repairs on 70 homes in seven days. Repairs will be conducted on homes of the elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged of the community, within a 30-minute drive of Williamsport High School.

Volunteers from the community are being sought to help evaluate the selected work sites for Antietam Workcamp 2007.

Training for the project will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the parish hall of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 18313 Lappans Road, Boonsboro. Lunch will be provided.
