Frederick County educator wins award for teaching excellence

FREDERICK, Md. - Monocacy Middle School technology teacher Michael Rohrer is one of 43 educators nationwide to receive the International Technology Education Association's Teacher Excellence Award, according to a Frederick County Public Schools press release.

The association announced Rohrer's award at its recent annual conference in San Antonio, according to the release.

The award is one of the highest honors given to technology-education classroom teachers, and recognizes a teacher's outstanding contribution to the profession and to students, according to the release.
