"Guys and Dolls" tells the story of a group of small-time gamblers and the ladies in their lives.

Bonnie Pratt will be directing the production this year. More than one-third of Goretti's 208 students are involved in the production. The Cumberland Valley School of Music, under the leadership of Andrew Sussman, is assisting with the production.

"It's wonderful to work with the professionals that are helping us with this play," Pratt said. "It's allowed us to do this musical."

Helping with the play are Gerald Kowallis, vocal director; Brian Helman, musical director; and Beckie Sariano, choreographer. Kowallis is the choir director at St. Maria Goretti High School and a retired music teacher from Waynesboro, Pa. Helman is an experienced pianist and accompanist.
