Franklin County Dairy Calf Sale is April 21

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The annual Franklin County Dairy Calf Sale will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at the C.V. Antique Engine Show Grounds.

The sale, open to the public, will feature about 20 calves and several embryo selections.

Franklin County 4-H Dairy Council sponsors the show. Commission fees support 4-H Dairy Club educational activities here.

This year's sale chairman is David Koons, of Waynesboro, Pa.

Sale catalogues are available at the local Cooperative Extension office. The phone number is 717-263-9226.

To reach the sale show grounds, take U.S. 30 west of Chambersburg for five miles to Twin Bridge Road. Turn right. Go about 1.5 miles. Bear left at the Twin Bridge Campground office onto Crider's Church Road. Go a short distance to Peckman Drive. Turn left. The entrance will be on your left.
