Sheriff's deputies respond to calls

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

Monday, March 19

· At 10:30 a.m., a blue and white paddle boat valued at $500 was reported stolen in the 900 block of Mount Aetna Road.

· At 3:30 p.m., a windshield was reported broken in the 200 block of North Colonial Drive. Damage was estimated at about $300.

· At 5:30 p.m., a wallet reported stolen at The Shoe Department at 17301 Valley Mall Road.

· At 6 p.m., a breaking and entering reported in the 19000 block of Garretts Mill Road. A red electric child's bike valued at $200 and $100 in change were reported stolen.


Tuesday, March 20

· At 3 a.m., a breaking and entering was reported at Liberty Fuels, 21322 Leitersburg Pike. About 115 packs of were cigarettes taken.

· At 10:30 a.m., a gold wedding band was reported stolen at Loyalton Assisted Living, 20009 Rosebank Way.

Wednesday, March 21

· At 3:30 p.m., a lightpost was reported shot out in the 19000 block of Manor Church Road. Damage was estimated at $40.

· At 7:30 p.m., front tags were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Western Maryland Parkway.
