Town budget to increase next year

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - The town budget of $663,685 for fiscal year 2007-08 was approved by the Bath Town Council Monday night.

Town Recorder and Finance Committee member Garnet Marsh said next year's budget increased by about 10 percent over last year.

The town street fees are budgeted to increase from $3 to $12 a quarter for residents, and $9 to $24 a quarter for commercial businesses, said Margie McCumbee Allgyer, town clerk.
