FORT LOUDON, Pa. - An 18-year-old from Chambersburg, Pa., was killed in an accident with a tractor-trailer on U.S. 30 in Peters Township on Saturday, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Geoffrey E. Martin lost control of the 1995 Nissan Maxima he was driving, and the car's passenger side hit the front end of a 1997 Freightliner at 10:50 p.m., police said.

Martin, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner, police said.

Police said 37-year-old Adam E. Youtzy had legally passed two vehicles and was returning to the westbound lane when the eastbound car hit his tractor-trailer.
