Synergy Healing Arts Center & Massage School

BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Snyergy Healing Arts Center & Massage School has been chosen as one of six schools in the country to receive the Biotone and COMTA EDU scholarship for 2007.

Synergy's qualification for the scholarship was based on the fact that COMTA accreditation was awarded the school on the first attempt.

The $500 scholarship will be awarded to a member of the April graduating class.

Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown

Mercedes-Benz of Hag-erstown has received the Mercedes-Benz Best of the Best Dealer recognition award.

The award was based on the 1955 Dual Highway dealership's performance in 2006.

The award is presented annually to the top 20 percent of the Mercedes-Benz dealers nationwide who demonstrate superior performance in areas of their businesses such as customer service, sales and management.

Seventy-one dealers nationwide received the award.

Edward Jones

The financial-services firm Edward Jones was named one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in America by Fortune magazine.


It was the eighth year that Edward Jones made the list. The ranking appears in the magazine's Jan. 22 edition.

The company ranked 29 overall and No. 9 on the magazine's Best Large-sized Company list.

The magazine also lists Edward Jones as a Top 10 company where associates feel "encouraged to balance their work and personal life."
