The First National Bank of Greencastle

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The First National Bank of Greencastle recently named Andrew Stephens information technology security and compliance officer.

Stephens, of Hagers-town, has been responsible for developing and implementing the IT security program and its information systems security policies, practices and assessments.

His duties include meeting IT regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and other guidelines.

Formerly an IT officer at the bank's McConnellsburg office, Stephens has worked for the past four years in banking.

He previously worked as an information technology director, senior engineer and IT operations manager.

He graduated from Smithsburg High School and the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He earned certifications in IT from Hagerstown Community College.

Prudential Franklin Associates Realtors

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Nichole Embly has joined Prudential Franklin Associates Inc. as an agent in training.

Embly is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.A in psychology. She has been employed by Chase Card Services as a senior instructor, responsible for training new hires in both sales and customer service.

A member of the Pen-Mar Association of Realtors, she has a background in management and customer service. She is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University with degrees in business/finance and Spanish.

RJ Technologies Inc.

Rob McCoy of RJ Technologies Inc., a Hagerstown-based training company, recently was recognized as the Speaker with the Best Overall Customer Satisfaction during the SkillPath 2007 Trainers Conference.

This award recognizes the speaker receiving the highest ranking based on three factors: Seminar participant evaluations, the achievement of defined business outcomes as assessed by the economic sponsor and professionalism and "extra mile efforts" in the delivery of services as a representative of the SkillPath organization.

Feng Shui Serenity

Jodi Spickler, owner of Feng Shui Serenity LLC, attended a three-day advanced feng shui seminar in Atlanta.

Participants from 14 states attended the seminar. Spickler, of Hagerstown, is a certified feng shui practitioner.

Association of Administrative Professionals

The 51st annual Executive Night of Hager Chapter, the International Association of Administrative Professionals, was held recently at Beaver Creek Country Club.

Executives attending were: Henry Alexander, regional administrator, State of Maryland, Division of Parole and Probation; Jack Castle, president & CEO, Hagerstown Trust; Mark Harrell Sr. vice president, retail banking, Hagerstown Trust; Pamela McAfee, administrative director of Total Rehab Care, Washington County Hospital; Paul Owens, project manager, Bechtel; Deborah Addo Samuels, vice president, Patient Care Services, Washington County Hospital; Robert Smith, president, Review & Herald Publishing Association; L. Marc Gamerman

GREELEY, Colo.- Marc Gamerman, D.C., of Hag-erstown, participated in the annual Ethics and Boundaries (E&B) Test Committee meeting Feb. 23-24 at the headquarters of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) in Greeley.

The E&B Test Committee is composed of members of state chiropractic licensing boards. Test committee members are nominated by members of the NBCE Board of Directors based on their expert knowledge of chiropractic practices and procedures.

Gamerman is a member of the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

During the meeting, the test committee developed the exams that the NBCE will use for future administrations.
