Lutheran churches supporting ONE Campaign

The Evangelical Lutheran Churches of America (ELCA) in Washington County are jointly supporting the ONE Campaign and the millennium development goals by designating Sunday, March 18, ONE Sunday.

Washington County ELCA churches will share God's Word and preach on the unity of all of God's children throughout the world and how the lack of attention to basic human needs breaches our unity.

Among the churches participating are Trinity Lutheran Church, 64 S. Main St., Boonsboro; Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Md. 494, Clear Spring; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, U.S. 40 at St. Paul Road, Clear Spring; St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 30 S. Martin St., Clear Spring; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 24 E. Baltimore St., Funkstown.

In addition are St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 53 N. Main St., Keedysville; Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Locust Grove Rd. and Md. 67, Rohrersville; Mount Moriah Lutheran Church, Smithsburg; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Greenburg Road, Smithsburg; St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 21348 Old Forge Road, Smithsburg; Trinity Lutheran Church, 15 N. Main St., Smithsburg; Zion Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St., Williamsport.
