10 seek five seats on Bath Town Council

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.VA. - Ten people are seeking five seats on the Bath Town Council, while Mayor Susan J. Webster and Town Recorder Garnet Marsh are running unopposed in the June town election.

The new council member candidates are Dave Duncan, Rebecca Mallory, Scott Merki, Ryan Rebant, Michelle Ritchie and Jim Slough.

Four current council members are running for re-election. They are David Crosby, Kenny Easton, Nancy Russell Harvey and Dale Lutman.

The vacant council seat was held by Tom Hall, who resigned in January.

All candidates must reside in the Town of Bath. The filing deadline was March 10.

Election Day for the Town of Bath is June 12. Early voting begins May 23 and runs through June 9 at Town Hall on Wilkes Street.

The Town of Bath is the local government inside Berkeley Springs.
