County bond bills heard

ANNAPOLIS - Four bonds bills involving Washington County were heard by a state Senate committee on Monday:

· $300,000 for the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts

· $300,000 for the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in downtown Hagerstown

· $300,000 for Brook Lane Health Services for constructing and equipping a gymnasium

· $200,000 for the planning, design and repair of the C&O Canal National Historical Park's Big Slackwater section near Williamsport.

The four bills were heard Monday by the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee.

The same bills are being considered on the House side by the Appropriations Committee.
