Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education will hold a seminar, "Evaluation and Treatment of Shoulder Injuries," on Friday, March 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at HCC's Kepler Theater.
This full-day seminar will offer a multidisciplinary approach for the evaluation and treatment of shoulder injuries.
Discussion will include normal and abnormal anatomy, pathomechanics and biomechanics, and some of the most common orthopedic conditions in which therapeutic interventions are indicated. Treatment modalities specific to PT, OT, chiropractic and massage therapy will be presented, and participants will have an opportunity to practice effective manual therapy techniques discussed during the program.
Continuing education credits will be available for physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors and massage therapists. The program is open to any exercise and rehabilitation professionals interested in learning about the evaluation and treatment of shoulder injuries.
