Baha'i, there will be a gathering tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Country Inn and Suites in the Valley Mall. Paula Myers will be speaking on teaching virtues to children at home.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the annual community Lenten services in the Smithsburg area will be held every Tuesday during Lent, beginning at noon.

Following the services, a soup luncheon will be shared at the church.

This week's speaker is the Rev. Terry Culler of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Leitersburg.

Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg, Pa., a dozen area churches are sponsoring a Cumberland Valley Spirit-Life Conference at the facilities on March 16-18, featuring guest speakers.

Pastor Tony Evans will be speaking March 16 at 7 p.m. and March 17 at 9 a.m. with additional programs at 1 and 6 p.m.

The theme is the nature and role of the Holy Spirit in the church community.

House of Prayer for all People Deliverance Ministries, 116 E. Race St., Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Linda Collins will be speaking this Sunday at 11 a.m.

At 5 p.m., Leonard Cooper will be in concert.

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Hancock, on Wednesdays during Lent, there will be a potluck supper and fellowship at 6:30 p.m. in Parish Hall followed at 7:30 p.m. by prayer and Lenten preaching.

Otterbein United Methodist Church, 549 N. Queen St., Martinsburg, W.Va., a pancake supper will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on March 16.

Adult tickets cost $6 and children's tickets cost $3. Youngsters under 6 eat free.

On Saturday, March 17, a winter carnival will begin at 5:30 p.m. with games, prizes, magic by Michael T and free food.

Blair's Valley Church of God, revival services will begin this Sunday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Walter B. Zimmerman and special music by his musical group.

Services and special music will continue nightly at 7 through March 14 with the Rev. Jeff Hawbaker of Orchard Ridge Church of God on Monday; the Rev. Norman Hege of Maple Grove Church of God on Tuesday; and the Rev. David Sword, pastor of Virginia Avenue Church of God on Wednesday.

St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church, the Rev. Alister Anderson will lead a retreat Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There will be a light Lenten lunch.

Boonsboro High School, the Mennonite comedy team of Ted and Lee will be performing Monday, March 18, at 7 p.m.
