MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A 41-year-old woman has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy who met her through a computer Web site and later went to her house where intimate sex acts allegedly happened, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records.

Bobbi Jo Starry, of 1014 Lovelace Way in Martinsburg, was arraigned Thursday on one count of third-degree sexual assault, which was filed against her by West Virginia State Police Sgt. D.E. Boober.

The boy told police Starry performed oral sex on him five times between Dec. 23, 2006, and Jan. 3, 2007, Boober said in his complaint.

The boy "advised that he had talked to a girl named 'Tiffany' on his computer first, then he started talking to her on the telephone and that they had phone sex," Boober said.

He eventually agreed to meet "Tiffany," later determined to be Starry, at a pizza shop, and agreed to go to her house, where at least the initial sex act happened, according to Boober's complaint.

The relationship was unraveled at least in part by a guidance councilor at the boy's middle school in Martinsburg, Boober said.

Police were told that Starry allegedly was providing alcohol to some of the students at her home and that she had shown nude photos of an adult female to them as well, Boober said.

In addition to statements, police recovered evidence of the boy's communication with Starry on the MySpace.com Web site, greeting cards and a gold wedding band she allegedly gave to the victim, Boober said.

A $10,000 bond for Starry was set in an arraignment hearing by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg.
