Duplicate Bridge Club posts results

Sixteen pairs competed Friday, March 2, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club in Hagerstown.

In the North/South direction, Dick and Lois Taylor came in first in the A stratum with a 58.63 percent game. Jean Toth and Rick Elbo were second in A with 56.55 percent, and Pat Newbold and Anne Carden placed third in A with 55.65 percent. Pat and Jack Mesner finished first in B with 52.38 percent, and Barbara Couch and Nancy Burger were second in B and first in C with 51.49 percent.

In the East/West direction, Margaret Peirce and Tim Smith were first in the A stratum with a 62.5 percent game. Denise Clow and Frank Carden were second in A with 58.04 percent, and Debbie and Scott Kiser were third in A and first in B and C with 54.46 percent. Gerard O'Malley and Ralph Cate were second in B with 52.38 percent, and Alan Brown and Barbara Burkhardt were second in C with 48.81 percent.
