Principles of Landscape Design

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Franklin County Master Gardeners will offer "Principles of Landscape Design" for homeowners interested in creating a landscape design for their property. 7 to 9 p.m. Franklin County Human Services Building, 425 Franklin Farm Lane.

Classes include:

· March 6 - Trees in Your Landscape How to Choose.

· March 13 - Annuals, Perennials and Water Gardening.

· March 20 - Shrubs in Your Landscape.

Line dancing lessons

Fabulous Photos

Students will learn how to show off great photographs and personalize a greeting card. Card, envelope and decorative supplies will be available. Bring five 4-inch-by-6-inch photos. Scuba diving

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The class consists of five four-hour sessions, consisting of classroom and pool instruction, lasting two hours each. The classroom session will include the information necessary to plan and conduct safe diving activities. Pool sessions are spent developing and practicing safe diving skills. After the classroom and pool sessions, students will make four open-water dives. Upon completion of the open water dives, students will receive the open-water certification card. Spring gardening 101 series

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Franklin County Master Gardeners will offer Spring Gardening 101 classes. 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, March 10, April 14, May 5 and June 2. Classes include:

March 10 - Hands-on pruning. Instructor Elmer Greey. Participants should dress for the weather and bring pruning shears to learn about equipment and techniques. The class will be held at Greey's Shippensburg, Pa., home. $10.

Doll-making seminar
