Linton Shafer Warfield & Garrett

FREDERICK, Md. - Cheryl M. Dodson, CPA, has joined the accounting firm of Linton Shafer Warfield & Garrett, P.A., as a senior accountant in the Frederick Audit Department.

A 2002 summa cum laude graduate of Pensacola Christian College, where she majored in business, Dodson has more than four years of public accounting experience.

She specializes in audits, reviews, compilations and financial reporting for nonprofit organizations, governmental entities and closely held businesses.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Prudential Franklin Associates, Realtors, has named real estate agents Bob Barton, of Chambersburg, and Sharon Berry, of Waynesboro, Pa., as Top Agents for the Month of January.

Barton has been with Prudential Franklin Associates for 5 1/2 years.

Berry was top agent of the month for eight of the 12 months of 2006. She has been with Prudential Franklin Associates for three years.

Berry and Barton have semi-private offices in Prudential's building at 730 Norland Ave. in Chambersburg.

STH Inc.

FREDERICK, Md. - Tim Mullineaux of New Market, Md., was honored as top sales producer during the STH Inc. holiday party on Dec. 3 at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick.

Mullineaux was presented awards for two top sales categories by officials of the Frederick-based manufacturer's representative of engineered plumbing products.

Randy A. Rachor, CPA, CFP, has been promoted to partner in the firm of Albright Crumbacker Moul & Itell LLC.

Rachor, of Hagerstown, has been with the firm since 2002.

He has been practicing as a public accountant for 15 years, obtaining his certified public accountant designation in 1994 and his certified financial planner designation in 2005.

He specializes in corporate and individual tax planning and preparation.

Frederick County Sheriff's Office

FREDERICK, Md. - Detective 1st Class Milton Frech Jr. retired Jan. 31 from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office with 13 1/2 years of service.

He began his law enforcement career in 1987 with the Baltimore City Police Department. He joined the Frederick Police Department in 1989 and the sheriff's office in 1993.

He served with Patrol Operations, the Narcotics Unit, the School Resource Program and the Training Section.

RCI

Correctional Officer II Gregory Coble was named Employee of the Month of February at Roxbury Correctional Institution.

He was given the award for his job performance on the 11-7 shift. His quick response prevented a serious injury or death to an inmate who was being assaulted while outside his cell, according to a release.

Conservit Inc.

Conservit Inc. recognized the following employees for perfect attendance in 2006: Randy Keefer, Richard Hose, Curtis Mann and Cliff Williams.

Conservit acknowledged the following employees for consecutive years of perfect attendance in 2006: Gary Ellis, six years; Joe Frye, six years; Ronnie Lacey, 10 years; and Gayle Younker, four years.

Nichols DeHaven & Associates CPAs

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Tina C. Dillow was the winner of Nichols DeHaven & Associates CPAs Peer Award for the second half of 2006.

She won the award for her willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, according to a release.

She is a graduate of Shepherd College, now Shepherd University. She works as an accounting clerk in the small-business services and financial services departments at the firm.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Elaine Royer, Pennsylvania Credit Union Association compliance and operations officer, presented a compliance training session on collections on Jan. 30 in Waynesboro. The session was hosted by Frick Federal Credit Union.

Myerly & Lowe Photography

Kim Lee, Janet Marquiss, Tina Fleetwood and Patrick Detweiler were among several hundred professional photographers who attended the annual convention of Senior Photographers International at Daytona Beach, Fla., Jan. 6-9.

The Myerly & Lowe Photography staff joined photographers from across the country who specialize in high school senior portraits. The convention featured speakers who discussed the latest in photo techniques.

MCTC

Harry Edmonds, correctional maintenance officer II, refrigeration mechanic, was named the Maryland Correctional Training Center's Employee of the Month for February.

He has been employed in the Regional Maintenance Division for nearly six years and is assigned to the Food Service area.

He has kept the Food Service equipment in good operating order and his hard work, diligence and preventative maintenance has improved the output and longevity of the equipment, according to a prepared release.

Edmonds has been with MCTC since September 1996 and served as a correctional officer before being promoted to work in regional maintenance.
