St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will speak on the topic, Camping Ministries, at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday.

Mooney and E-man will present a children's sermon.

Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults are at 10:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church, Pastor Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday. The topic is Prepare for the Celebration.

Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church, vespers are tonight at 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Father Dennis Buck will celebrate at 10 a.m. the Divine Liturgy of Orthodox Sunday.

Church school for children and coffee hour for adults follow Liturgy. Great Lent continues requiring abstinence of all meat and dairy products.

On Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts followed by a Lenten meal and class.

On Saturday, March 3, Soul Saturday, there will be a Memorial Liturgy at 10 a.m.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday will feature Pastor Carol Hallman speaking on the topic, The Born Identity.

Wednesday Oasis service and NuVision Youth is at 7 p.m. The topic is Danger Lines in the Deeper Life.

New Hope Church of Christ, 30 W. Salisbury St., Williamsport, Evangelist Thomas Huff will continue a series, Through the Bible - The Old Testament, this Sunday.

The service and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m. in the old Williamsport Ambulance Company building beside the post office.

Bible study on Wednesdays is at 7 p.m. at the ambulance hall.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will bring the message at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services this Sunday on the topic, When Tempted, Look to the Word!

St. John's Episcopal Church, The Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preach this Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The Great Litany will be read responsively in the early service and sung in procession at the later service.

David McKinley and parish choir will provide music at the later service.

The Wednesday evening Lenten service begins at 7 p.m., preceded by supper at 6 p.m. The theme is Pilgrims on the Way, Our Lutheran Journey of Faith. Guest preacher will be Pastor Greg Martin, and his topic will be The Means of Salvation.

Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will be speaking at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on Celebrating Cultural Diversity, sponsored by the Shepherdstown Ministerial Association.

Youth fun night will be held at Shepherdstown Youth Center on Wednesday this week at 7 p.m. Bible study at Asbury also begins at 7 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor Torben Aarsand will be celebrant/preacher this Sunday at the 8 and 11 a.m. services this Sunday. Sue Stull and Jane Drawbaugh will be lay assisting ministers.

Pastor Miki Bond will lead the 9 a.m. contemporary liturgy in Fellowship Hall which is signed for the deaf. Robert Bella Wilhelm, director of the School of Sacred Storytelling, will be guest speaker.

The Appalachian Wind Quintet will perform at 3 p.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., Pastor Larry Weber will be speaking this Sunday at 10:35 a.m. on the topic, The Fruit of Conflict.

At 7 p.m., the topic is Be the First to Know. Grace Teens meet at 6 p.m. and Awana for children meets at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages.

Wednesday services are at 1 and 7 p.m.

Christ Reformed Church, 304 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Bronson Staley will speak on the topic, When is That Opportune Time for You?, at the 11 a.m. communion service.

Welty Church of the Brethren, Greensburg, the Rev. James Flora will be speaking this Sunday at 10:40 a.m. on the topic, The Power of Prayer.
