W.Va. indictments include murder charges

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Twenty-one people were indicted Thursday by a grand jury convened on the third day of the February term in Berkeley County Circuit Court, according to signed copies of the panel's true bills released by county Prosecutor Pamela J. Games-Neely's office.

Forty-three others were indicted Tuesday and Wednesday.

Indicted were:

· Stephen R. Fielder, 58, of P.O. Box 359 in Bunker Hill, W.Va., on one count of murder.

· Thomas Anthony Dawson, 21, of 343 Blair St. in Martinsburg, on counts of first-degree murder, felony murder, burglary and first-degree arson.

· Diane Buettner, 51, of 13415 Woodbridge St. in Woodbridge, Va., on one count of grand larceny.

· Shawn Lee Souders, 29, of 118 W. 6th St. in Ranson, W.Va., on counts of forgery, uttering and conspiracy.

· Kirstie Marie Grona, 19, of 510 E. Moler Ave. in Martinsburg, on counts of uttering and conspiracy to utter.

· Stanley R. Grooms, 56, of 147 Lariat Drive in Kearneysville, W.Va., on four counts of uttering, four counts of conspiracy to forgery and four counts of conspiracy to utter.

· Steven Wayne Beaver, 43, of 430 Brown Road, on a count of driving suspended revoked DUI third offense.

· David Franklin Brackett, 57, of 1335 Gardner Lane in Shepherdstown, W.Va., on seven counts of false pretense and 13 counts of obtaining property with worthless checks.

· Ernest L. Bradds, 34, of 11794 Winchester Ave. in Bunker Hill, on counts of forgery and uttering.

· Michael Scott Butts, 36, of 297 Mockingbird Circle in Bunker Hill, on one count of grand larceny.

· John W. Greenfield Jr., of 29 Barrett Lane in Hedgesville, W.Va., on counts of wanton endangerment, third offense domestic assault and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.

· Benjamin M. Lazaro, 22, of 31 Cobra Court in Martinsburg, on one count of fleeing in a vehicle while DUI.

· Jamie Ann Ludwig, 28, of 362 Perry Drive in Falling Waters, W.Va., on counts of forgery and uttering of forged writing.

· Charles W. May, of 210 N. Kentucky Ave., Apt. 16, in Martinsburg, on counts of DUI third offense, driving revoked suspended DUI third offense, obstruction, battery of a police officer, providing false information to a police officer, improper vehicle registration and no proof of insurance.

· Stephen C. Hiett, 30, of 99 Ferris Drive in Roper, N.C., on counts of DUI third offense, driving revoked suspended DUI second and driving left of center.

· Brian W. Hohenstreet, 39, of 2639 Louis Ave. in Brentwood, Md., on four counts of possession of a sexually explicit material of a minor.

· Michael S. Hutzler, 40, of 4 Outback Drive in Bunker Hill, on counts of burglary, grand larceny and destruction of property.

· Keith William Kesecker, 28, of 291 Maize Court, on counts of DUI third offense, driving revoked DUI first offense, failure to maintain control and driving left of center.

· Steven K. Hatfield, 49, of 132 Shutter St. in Charles Town, W.Va., on two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian and two counts of first-degree sexual assault.

· Sabrina R. DeHaven, 24, of 690 Royal Crest Drive in Martinsburg, on counts of uttering and conspiracy to utter.

· Earlene Hawkins, 32, of 340 Abernathy Road in Inman, N.C., on counts of possession of a stolen vehicle, bringing stolen property into the state, conspiracy, fleeing on foot and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
