Gateway Ministries, Williamsport, Tommie Zito of Tommie Zito Ministries will speak at 7 p.m. today and Sunday.

Unity Church of Frederick, 1 W. Ninth St., as part of the 2007 Season for Nonviolence, the Baha'i Faith will present Max Anis speaking on Building Peace in Afghanistan this Sunday at 4 p.m.

Community Lenten services, Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will speak at the noon Lenten service this Tuesday. A soup luncheon will follow the service.

World Day of Prayer, Church Women United will hold services with the theme United Under God's Tent. Services will be held at 7 p.m. March 2 at Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Fairview; Calvary Temple, Williamsport; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Smithsburg; St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Sabillasville, Md.; and at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown. Men and women are welcome.


Lily of the Valley Evangel Church, 826 Wilson St., Martinsburg, W.Va., the 21st pastoral anniversary of Pastor Nathaniel Wright will be celebrated March 2 at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, March 4, at 11 a.m., Minister Hector Correa will be guest speaker. Pastor Rudolph Bropleh will be speaking at 4 p.m.

Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, the annual mission conference is March 4-7 nightly at 7.

Sunday services are also at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Guest speakers will include Gardiner Gentry, Toru Marshall and missionaries from Argentina and Chile.

Aglow International Community Lighthouse of Middletown Valley, New Day Ministries, North Church and Green streets, Middletown, Md., Kathy Schey will speak on how circumstances can cause a type of identity theft. The meeting is March 6 from 7 to 9 p.m.
