Man faces burglary, theft and consipracy charges

CLEAR SPRING - A Clear Spring man who allegedly told police he pawned stolen rifles and a chain saw for money to buy crack cocaine faces 20 counts, including charges of theft, burglary and conspiracy, according to court records.

Joseph Michael Kinzer III, 32, of 162 Cumberland St., was in the Washington County Detention Center Thursday night, a deputy said.

Probable cause was found to charge Kinzer during a preliminary hearing Wednesday, according to court records.

According to a charging document, Kinzer stole equipment from garages in Clear Spring and Hagerstown, and a shed in Clear Spring. He allegedly pawned some of the items in the last two months of 2006.
